In just 2 days (on the 25th February) NEDA Awareness Week 2019 will have officially begun. I wanted to take this time to share some statistics as well as reflect on my time at the 2018 NEDA walk last year (pictured below).
Eating Disorders are such a dangerous cycle and sadly so common among our society today; in fact, every 62 minutes someone dies of this disease (ANAD, 2019). There are many varieties of eating disorders that affect the lives of 30 million people in the United States alone (ANAD, 2019).
If you are struggling or know someone who is, please reach out, educate yourself / get the help that you need. You are worth recovery, you deserve to live a happy and healthy life.
